Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 10 nos prawns


  • 200 gms basmati rice


  • 3 nos bay leaves


  • 1/2 nos cinnamon stick(half an inch)


  • 1 tsp salt,some to taste


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 10 nos peppercorns


  • 1 nos onion(small one finely chopped)

Directions

  • Wash the rice and set aside.
  • Marinate the prawns in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder.
  • Saute finely chopped onion with ghee util color turns golden brownish.
  • Add cinnamon stick, bay leaves and pepper corn to pan.and saute it.
  • Add marinated prawns to this and again saute till change its color.
  • Then add rice and saute some more minutes.
  • Add water till the rice submerges in and then add salt.stir for few minute.
  • Allow this to boil till water dries up.
  • Serve hot.
